Derivative work of File:Near East topographic map-blank.svg[edit]
Hello Attar-Aram syria,
You have made a Derivative work of this map, File:Yamhad and Vassals.png, and added it but its not being shown. The reason is the template {{DerivativeVersions}} : it can only show 25 pictures, and here it have more. I modified that, now you can see your picture.

Licences[edit]
Hello,
please be mindful that a photograph on an object can yield a copyright on the image itself, which is what is being licenced to Commons. Hence a photograph of an antique statue is not necessarily in the Public Domain, and the tag PD-100 will not apply in any case on a recent photograph.
Good continuation. Rama (talk) 13:58, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
- Hey, Rama, then can you help satisfy Nikkimaria. She seemed satisfied with those tags. Please read her image review here to understand what I mean.--Attar-Aram syria (talk) 14:58, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
- you need to clearly specify that your PD-100 applies to the original work being depicted, and not to the photograph. The way you did it, you seem to re-licence the image, which only the copyright holder can do. Rama (talk) 22:36, 30 June 2017 (UTC)
File:Yamhad and Vassals.png has been listed at Commons:Deletion requests so that the community can discuss whether it should be kept or not. We would appreciate it if you could go to voice your opinion about this at its entry.
If you created this file, please note that the fact that it has been proposed for deletion does not necessarily mean that we do not value your kind contribution. It simply means that one person believes that there is some specific problem with it, such as a copyright issue. Please see Commons:But it's my own work! for a guide on how to address these issues. |
